This chemical, Glyphosate, is recently found in Cheerios, Oreos, Trix, Kellog’s Products and more.
You might not have heard about this because the company that is behind this, Monsanto, will do whatever it takes to bury this story. Please be aware of this issue and share with your family and friends.
Glyphosate is a weed killing chemical developed by Monsanto in the 1970’s. Monsanto then developed Genetically Modified crops and seeds which are resistant to the “Round Up” weed killers. The result: Only the plants genetically engineered to survive the poison survive. Unfortunately, that means the chemical is absorbed by these food stuffs and stored there until we eat them.
As humans, we are organic organisms, and we are not designed to ingest these poisons. The problem is – Monsanto owns most of the worlds food source by owning the seeds and the patents to them. They have even engineered their plants not to produce fertile seeds – so there is no way of growing your own food. You have to eat theirs.
Glyphosate is linked to various strains of cancer, as well as a plethora of other inflammatory-related illnesses.
According to The Cornucopia institute, The Global Research Centre, and Purdue University, Glyphosate has an immensely negative effect on the human body. It builds up in our systems and the symptoms manifest over time, as the inflammation it causes damages all of the cellular systems throughout our bodies. These include gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, obesity, heart disease, infertility, Alzheimer’s disease, and depression, to name a few.
As if causing you disease isn’t enough, Dr Don M Huber at Purdue University also claims that Glyphosate draws out the nutrients of all living things – rendering the food it’s treated with without any real nutritional value. It is essentially a nutrient vampire that also makes you sick. But it gets worse. The chemical also causes genetic damage in human blood cells – so once the damage has taken hold it is reproduced in your system, by your system.
So, the EPA must be controlling the substance, right?
Wrong.
Unfortunately, in 2013 the EPA decided that rather than try to manage the substance more rigidly, they would simply increase the allowed amount of the substance in your food.
So, in spite of several in-depth studies by respected institutions and a prior ban on the substance, it has now been decided that higher levels of Glyphosate should be tolerated in our foods.
The allowed amount of Glyphosate in oilseed crops (including canola and soy) is set at 20 – 40 parts per million (ppm). This is more than 100 000 times the amount that was used to induce breast cancer cells in studies. The allowable limit of glyphosate in regular crops is 200 – 6 000ppm.
Residues of Glyphosate are commonly present in the main food stuffs that make up the Western diet, such as wheat, corn, soy, and sugar. The highest levels of the chemical have been reported in highly processed foods – with some of them even going over and beyond the already dangerous legal levels.

With even trusted Brands like Back to Nature and Whole Foods perpetuating the spread of Glyphosate heavy products, that’s because you can’t find glyphosate in your food labels. You can only know it if it’s being tested.
What you need to do is to avoid GMO foods because many GMOs were invented to be resistant to glyphosate. And after GMO were invented, the usage of glysphosate has increased dramatically.
The most effective way to ensure your good health is to buy non-GMOs food, unprocessed foods as far as possible. Many of so called “convenience” foods we buy can be easily made at home from organic ingredients. It just takes a little more effort and planning.
